World Skeet Masters 2019 Results!

World Skeet Masters 2019 Results!

The World Skeet Masters 2019 was held between October 11th and 13th. This weekend would see the top skeet shots take to the ranges to see who would be leaving with the titles, and their share of the £3300 sponsored prize pot, with 1 lucky shooter taking £1000 of it for themselves!

Shooting got underway on the blustery Friday, with rough weather sadly a few shooters dropped out, but those who did make it battled through to get their scores in. Over the weekend we would see the weather improve from this, with sporadic rain showers dampening some, however the rain dying down meant that the targets flew kinder allowing some great scores to come in across the 3 days.

On Sunday afternoon it was tense as we all waited for the final scores to come in, with two of Saturdays shooters tied at the top on 197/200, all the other shooters in the super-final knew they had their work cut out. Once the preliminary shoot offs where completed, everyone headed to Range 2 to see our top six shoot out for the title. Our qualifiers for the shoot off were; Alex Garcia 194, Peter Stanton-Hope 194, Christian Bethell 195, Gary Cook 195, Dave Morgan 197 and Daren Parsons 197.

After the English Skeet round we still had a tie at the top, with Daren and Dave both scoring straights. It would be the second to last peg on the doubles where these two would split, when Daren sadly dropped a target allowing Dave to claim that title and the £1000 cash prize!

In our categories we had yet more amazing shooting with Becky Kibble on 189 taking the ladies title, Harry Willis on 185 would top the Juniors, Alex Banning on 190 topped the Colt category and in Veterans the honours would go to Peter Stanton-Hope on 194. Our Unclassified class, made up of shooters who had no classes, was topped by Fabio de Pinho on a score of 186. Across the classes Marcus Webb topped C class with 186, B class was won by Paul Howarth on 187, A Class honours went to Russell Swain on 190, and Gary Cooke who had made it to our Super-Final won AA Class.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our team of staff and referees who kept this shoot running for us throughout the weekend. Our thanks also go to our amazing supporters and sponsors, who ensured every shooter left with something (including 25 Hull Pro-Pistons!). Our thanks go to; Hull Cartridge, Promatic, CCI, Phillip Webster, Brakes Catering, Custom Fit Guards, Jack Pyke and Essex Gun.
