Shooters Raise over £1100 for My WiSH Charity!
On Saturday August 4th 2018 we held a charity shoot for the fabulous My WiSH charity, raising money for the much needed cardiac diagnostic ward at West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds. Shooters did not disappoint and raised a massive £1131.85 for them!
The day was a beautifully sunny day as shooters turned up to head around the 50 target open course. With prizes up for grabs in 6 categories, it saw many re-entering to try and get their hands on the trophies!
Our winners were:
Overall High Gun – Daren Parsons 48/50
Junior High Gun – Henry Lungley 43/50
Ladies High Gun – Mel Comyn-Otter 37/50
Veteran High Gun – Jerry Read 40/50
Disabled Shooter High Gun – 42/50
Parent & Child Combined High Gun – 87/100
A massive thank you goes to our volunteer referees for the day, and the event sponsors who where: RG Carter Construction, Alan Paine, The Disabled Shooters Group, SD Sporting Services & Currys Service Centre.
Thank you to all who donated to this incredible cause that got them closer to their £500,000 target for the much needed addition to our local hospital.
